This temple is in Aryanadu, in the Thiruvananthapuram district. Kandan Shastha is the main deity consecrated here.
The temple has a small square sanctum. Many of the special poojas and rituals
performed here make this temple a unique place of worship. Most deities
here are also seen only in the southern parts of Kerala. The temple is also known
for the ritual of men offering Ponkala. This is popularly known as Aryanadu
Purusha Ponkala.
