This temple is at the Paraya Colony near Kumbidi junction in Thrithala Panchayath of Palakkad district. It is the temple of Pakkanar, a member of the famous Parayipetta Panthirukulam. Erattingal is the family name of Pakkanar. The eldest male member of this family performs the poojas here. The idols are made of stone, wood and bronze. The sanctum faces the east. Three poojas are offered every day. At the place where Pakkanar planted a stick of the Kanjiram (wormwood), a new tree grew up and its leaves were not sour to taste. This tree is considered as the original more place of this temple. It is believed that 82000 powers, including Chathan, Cowva, Karimkutty, Dandan and Pakkanar have been consecrated here.
