This temple is at Ambattukavu
in Aluva in Kochi. The presiding deity is Bhagavathy. It is believed to be about 500 years old.
Formerly the temple belonged to a family named Karingampilly. Later a Trust was
formed for the administration of the temple. When there was some difference of
opinion between the Trust and the local people, the administration was handed
over to the Travancore Devaswom Board. Now the members elected by the local
people look after the temple's affairs. The subordinate deities are Ganapathy, Sasthavu, Kiratha Parvathy,Nagangal, and Khanda Karnan.
