This temple is at Karuvatta in Adoor. It is famed as the temple where rishis used to practice penance centuries ago. Mahadeva is consecrated as Kirathamoorthy here. As yogas to please Lord Indra were conducted here, the place became Indralam, which later became Indalam. Though the temple was forgotten for some time, it has returned to its former glory. When the people staying here had to face many difficulties in life an astrological consultation was held in 2015. It was found that the effulgence of the Lord worshipped by the Rishis long ago, was still present in the temple which had been destroyed by
more the passage of time. So, a new temple was built and consecration was done in 2021.
