Sree Janardhana Temple,
situated on Amman Kovil Road in Amaravathy, Fort Kochi, Kerala, is dedicated to
Lord Janardhana, one of the 24 forms of Maha Vishnu. The deity's idol (murti)
faces east, offering a serene and divine darshan. The temple holds historical
significance as it belongs to the Gowda Saraswat Brahmin community from Goa,
who settled in Kochi after fleeing Portuguese persecution and forced
conversions.
