Kanthallur Sreekrishna Temple is situated in Vellinezhi along the Palakkad–Cherpulassery road in the Palakkad district of Kerala. The temple's presiding deity is Lord Sree Krishna, worshipped in the form of Vishnu Bhagavan (Sri Krishna Sankalpa). The deity faces east, and the temple also houses Ganapathy as the Upa Devata (sub-deity). The temple's grand 8-day annual festival begins with the ceremonial flag hoisting (Kodiyettam) on the day of Thiruvonam Nakshatra in the Malayalam month of Vrischikam (November–December). In addition to the annual festival, the temple celebrates significant occasions like Sri Krishna Jayanti (Gokulashtami) and Thrikarthika, drawing devotees to partake in the spiritual and cultural festivities.
