This temple at Punaloor is famous for the huge
pond near the temple which is teeming with fish of various sizes. This pond
remains full of water even in the height of summer. The temple is believed to
be hundreds of years old. The fish are fed with the rice and other things that are
offered to the Goddess as well as the nuts and puffed rice given by the
devotees.
