This temple is about
5km from the National Highway at Pazhaya Nadakavu in Alappuzha. Goddess Bhadrakali is consecrated under the Poovilanji tree without a roof over the idol. The sanctum faces the north. It is a hereditary family temple managed by a registered committee. Kalabham, held on the star Bharani in the month of Kumbham, is the most important day. Garudan Thookam also is performed here.
