Kanimangalam Sastha Temple,
located in Kanimangalam within the Kurukancheri village on the
Thrissur-Irinjalakuda road, Thrissur district, Kerala, is a revered shrine
where Lord Sastha is worshipped in the padmasana (lotus) posture. This temple
is one of ancient Kerala's 108 Ayyappan kavukal (sacred groves). In the
traditional "Thottam Pattu" songs, which enumerate the 108 Sastha
temples, the temple is referred to as Kannamkulangarakavu.
