Elavally Durga Bhagavathi Temple, located in Elavally, Thrissur district, Kerala, is a revered shrine dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali. It is one of the 108 Durga temples in Kerala and holds historical significance as one of the important temples of ancient Kerala. The temple is mentioned as Abhinavalathagramam in the classical work Mayoorasandesham. The temple's main deity is Goddess Durga, believed to be a manifestation of Vana Durga (Forest Durga). The temple has a unique arrangement of deities: Durga is worshipped in the southern section, Shiva occupies the centre facing west, and Vishnu is in the northern section, also facing west. This combination of deities adds to the more temple’s spiritual significance. The annual festival is a grand celebration dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali, attracting devotees from far and wide.
