Chotty Sree Mahadeva Temple is
located in Chotty, near Mundakkayam in the Kottayam district of Kerala. The
temple was built in 1978 after the discovery of the remains of an ancient
temple at the site. It is a revered place of worship, with deities including
Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvathy, Lord Ganesha, Lord Subrahmania, Lord Ayyappa,
Lord Krishna, Durga Devi, and Nagaraja. The temple is about 6 km from
Mundakkayam and approximately 10 km from Kanjirappally, in the village of
Mundakkayam in Kottayam district.
