Sree Shankaranarayana Temple is located in Ramanthali, Kannur district, Kerala. It is the northernmost Tali temple in the state, with its deity, Shankaranarayana, representing the combined form of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. The left half of the murti (idol) represents Vishnu, while the right half depicts Shiva. The idol, standing nearly 6 feet tall, is crafted from panchaloha (a five-metal alloy). The temple's sreekovil (sanctum sanctorum) is uniquely shaped like an elephant's back, known as gaja prishta. The darshanam (viewing direction) of the Ramanthali Shankaranarayana Temple is towards the east, and three poojas are conducted daily. The temple also houses a sub-deity, Bhoothananda. One of the main
more offerings at the temple is Kadali (plantain). A distinctive offering is Valiyavattalam payasam, believed to bless devotees with children when offered in the temple.
