Pirappancode Sree Krishna Swami Temple is an ancient temple located along MC Road in Pirappancode, Venjaramood, Trivandrum. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna, with sub-deities including Ganapathy, Nagaraja, Ayyappa, and Devi. Managed by the Travancore Devaswom Board, this temple is one of the oldest and most renowned Sree Krishna temples in Kerala, having been established over 150 years ago. The temple is known for its serene atmosphere, with a large pond in the compound, which is often used for swimming practice. Many swimmers trained here have gone on to win state and national competitions. The temple compound also includes a marriage auditorium, making it a hub
more for local events. The annual festival celebrated over 10 days during the Malayalam month of Meenam, is a grand occasion. The Utsava Mahamaham is a major highlight, conducted to enhance the divine energy of the deity. The temple also displays the Dasavatharams (the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu) during this festival, drawing devotees from far and wide. Though the temple is well-maintained and clean, there are some dress code restrictions, and parking space is limited. Despite these, Pirappancode Sree Krishna Swami Temple remains a major centre of worship under the Travancore Devaswom Board, especially within the Ulloor Group (Pirappancode Sub-group).
