This temple is at Plathara, Vencode P. O in Thiruvananthapuram. It is one of the most famous temples in Kerala. It is on the northwestern side of the famous Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple. It is believed to be more than 80 years old. The Goddess is believed to have been worshipped by a learned Brahmin. The eldest male member of a family close to the Brahmin was permitted to worship the Goddess. The Goddess, in the form of a young girl, went with this Yogeeswaran and Karimkali Amma and she was consecrated on a platform under a jackfruit tree and later at the constructed more temple. The family manages the temple. Suspected culprits were brought to the temple to see if they had done wrong.
